With recent events surrounding Black Lives Matters, we are on a mission to create unity between the Asian and Black community.
We are hosting an online fundraiser concert called, ‘We Stand With You‘ to support the Black community.
The concert line up includes Asian American artists and up-and-coming Asian artists from across the globe with performances by Bohan Phoenix, Chow Mane, Alan Z, Jason Chu, NyuKyung, Rajan Sahota, Maruxa Lynd, Reckless Escapades, Profedik, Kitt Mae, Sawhee, Clubby Yoo and Sk Illerest.
The concert goal is to raise funds and support Black-owned businesses as we believe small businesses provide opportunities for the local communities. We believe that small businesses drive the community forward by supporting the local community, fostering the local economies, and creating jobs for local residents as well as immigrants who may not be able to make a living elsewhere. Many Black-owned businesses are affected by COVID-19 and by recent looting and riots. Black-owned businesses have not received help from the state, federal, and local governments. They are also not receiving grants and funds. Therefore, we will donate to the Black Lives Matters Small Business Relief/ Helping Hand Small Business Relief.Β 100% of the proceeds raised will go directly to helping black-owned businesses in need.
